Meet the Yardfather
My name is Nathan Carnes and I am the YardFather! I married my high school sweetheart 10 years ago and have 3 beautiful children. Growing up I always wanted to keep things clean, organize my house and move furniture around (without my parents permission and now my Wife’s) to make things “pop”. I loved creating something that was messy and transform it into something beautiful. I launched the YardFather to take my love for gardening and help others with their transformation projects as well. So many people have the idea in their head, but just need help with the implementation. I look forward to meeting you and working with you to help you take the ordinary and transform it into something extraordinary!.

Nathan (The Yard Father) made quick work of completely transforming our front and back garden beds as well as building a raised bed for a vegetable garden. We went with his discretion on which flowers and shrubs to to choose from and he really made our yard come to life with color and beauty. All this only took him one afternoon. We recently had our front and back yards shaped up by Nathan and Ryan from The YardFather. To say that our yards were ‘out of shape’ is the understatement of the year. We had been trying for months to get a ‘landscape guy’ to actually come out, give an estimate, and do the work they said they would do when they said they would do it.
Nathan and Ryan not only showed up when they said they would, they charged very reasonable rates for a FANTASTIC job. It wasn’t easy cleaning up bamboo, reshaping paths with granite, killing weeds and mulching beds, taking out overgrown bushes, and relocating rocks to make nicer beds; however, these guys did it all with a smile and great work ethic.
We are thrilled with the work they did and can’t wait to now host people in our backyard.
